As Regional Managing Director at Beckhoff Automation Southeast Asia, I lead a cross-cultural team of sales and technical professionals to deliver innovative and customized solutions for various industries and segments. With over 20 years of experience in the industrial automation and controls field, I have a strong track record of driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the region. I am passionate about promoting Digitalization (Industry 4.0 in manufacturing context), and I enjoy challenging the status quo to stay ahead of competition. I believe the spirit of competition is also to push the whole eco-system forward - from a country level to an industry level and eventually to make the world a better place. That is why I am also actively involved in the local associations and communities, serving as the Board Chairman of SME Centre@SMF, the Chairman of the Smart Automation Industry Group in the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, and I co-chair the Smart Manufacturing Technical Committee in Standards Development along with participation in other committees. On the personal development front, I am pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration degree at Singapore Management University, focusing on international business, strategic management and SME growth strategies.
