EFL Teacher | BA in Journalism and Digital Communication with Law (1.1). Self-motivated, diligent, and honest are traits I live by in the workplace and at home. I am currently studying a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Digital Communication with a Major in Law at the University of Limerick. I believe that every day poses new opportunities to improve physically, intellectually, and morally. Sales and Marketing on Social Media is a major focus of mine. As Digital Marketing & Communications Intern for UL Global, I transformed our social media presence on TikTok, making it the 3rd biggest college page in Ireland. In less than 6 months, I more than doubled our following and sextupled our total likes, also gaining over 2.5 million views. Additionally, I continued to grow UL Global's presence on other major social media platforms. I look forward to developing my content creation skills in the future, always looking for new challenges to overcome. Leadership has played a large role in my life between sports and work experience. As the youngest member of my team, I lead County Tipperary to win Munster and National Championships in Ireland's native game of pitch and putt. Elsewhere, I have taken strong initiative in co-leading the Student Ambassador Programme with UL Global. I was responsible for a total of 55 international students in organizing video shoots, competitions, and social gatherings. Writing has always stood by me as one of my greatest strengths. At an early age, I was fortunate to win an essay competition with the European Youth Parliament and was invited to Brussels. This propelled me onwards to write a weekly column covering American news for my college newspaper. My time in journalism has culminated in my most recent achievement in copy editing and writing for a class-led magazine that won Magazine of the Year and Design and Layout at the National Student Media Awards 2023. For words to live by, I recall the words of President Theodore Roosevelt: "Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty."
