Responsibilities include: -Designing, building, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting value-added assembly equipment for injection molded, as well as blow molded automotive parts. -Programming STAR and Sepro Robots for extracting parts from molds and placing them on conveyors to be packaged. -Advanced NC step programming methods for over molding inserts for various parts. -Programming Motoman robots to load End of Arm tooling with inserts. -Set up and program inspection cameras to determine defective molded parts. -Machining all designed components using our mill, lathe, bench grinder, and CNC mill. -Program tool paths on our CNC mill to cut 3D surfaces to nest parts in fixtures. -Wire up and program all PLC controlled assembly stations, as well as integrate various sensor and vision systems to ensure quality and fully assembled product.
