• Environmental Lead for Unincorporated Joint Venture (UJV) of Petrofac SEAP, Samsung Engineering and Saipem • Direct reporting to UJV SSHE Project Manager, and indirect reporting to Petrofac Corporate Environmental Manager • Environmental Lead for Environmental Advisors of respective UJV Companies. • Ensuring Compliance with Project Environmental Impact Assessment, Project Environmental Plan and Environmental Procedures, and Thailand Environmental Laws and regulations for Management of environmental systems (waste,water quality and air quality) • Providing evidence in environmental monitoring monthly report and six months report to Client • Providing weekly and monthly reports to Client, UJV Management and Petrofac Corporate Management • Review environmental mitigation measures and environmental monitoring report • Prepare documents, letter and presentation to Government Municipality in the event the project receives complaint. • Informing Site Construction Management, Supervision, and Sub-Contractor(s) about environmental responsibility measures and procedures to be implemented and observed; • Ensuring implementation of Project Environmental procedures and programmes on Site; • Monitoring the environment management system to ensure compliance to applicable environmental regulations and manage identified environmental impacts arising from project activities; • Implement EIA recommendations for the construction phase of the project and submit compliance report to the Client at agreed frequency • Supervision of Sub-Contractor and other third party environmental activities; • Participation in and leading of environmental inspection, audit, investigation, and analysis; • Participation in Risk Assessments for new activities • Participation in Emergency Response Operations as liaison with emergency response teams to provide guidance in event of environmental spills or environmental impacts • Identification of significant environmental issues/impacts, and managing and carrying out of the relevant corrective and preventive actions; • Coordinate with Permit Coordinator for obtaining environmental legal license/ permits, and implementing stipulated specific conditions in a timely manner; • Conducting environmental monitoring and measuring activities as per Project and EIA requirements; • Participate in EHS site inspections and internal environmental audits to ensure that Project activities comply with legislative and contractual requirements, and ensuring that all remedial actions identified by audits/inspections are closed out in time. • Investigate environmental incidents and take proactive measure to prevent such incidents • Investigate any complaints raised by Community in respect of environmental impacts, eg. dust, noise, vibration • Liaise with Client and UJV Community Representatives to ensure timely close out of community issues • Conduct environment trainings and campaigns to enhance environmental awareness of the workforce at site • Conduct environmental campaigns within the Community to maintain good relations and interaction Professional Experiences
