Co-founded the church with 4 friends. Appointed Lead Pastor in 1996 when church had 500 people, 8 staff & annual budget of SGD800K. Initiated & oversaw church expansion into Chile, Ecuador, Kenya, Peru, South Africa, UK & Vietnam. Listed as one of 7 fast growing churches in Singapore in the 1998 book Church in Asia Today: Challenges and Opportunities by Dr. Saphir Athyal (ed.). At handover to new Lead Pastor, the church had 4,400 people, 35 staff & annual budget of SGD4.5M.

Taught "Principles of Accounting I & II" to first-year tertiary students in the Department of Business Administration over 2 semesters.

Conducted financial & non-financial performance analysis for management, Regional HQ & Global HQ. Duties included analysis of cashflow, profitability, receivables, inventory turnover, manufacturing efficiency and waste reduction. Performed annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and evaluation of capital expenditure proposals. Conducted a special audit for the Regional HQ on a subsidiary in Taiwan

Worked in the Audit & Business Advisory division of the largest accounting, tax and consulting practice in the Asia-Pacific region. Detailed audit procedures included analytical reviews, tests, preparation of full-set audited financial statements, review of internal control systems and accounting procedures. Industry experience spanned from trading, manufacturing, printing to shipping. Clients included Abbott Laboratories, BHP, R.R. Donnelley, Okamoto, Sharp &Thomson Consumer Electronics.

Responsible for monthly computerised financial reporting for this company in the electrical, industrial, marine engineering business.
