• Liaise with customers to scope their requirements for control panels and single electric components, before calculating cost estimates and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and test solutions • Lead the planning, design (production), and calibration (testing) of a portfolio of high-quality consumer instruments from scratch, including temperature controllers, pressure controllers, and humidity controllers: • Project managed the creation of temperature controllers (Type K Thermocouple, PT100 RTD) used to monitor BBQ meat temperature, control coffee temperature, facilitate beer brewing, and execute powder coating • Brought to market multiple pressure gauges and controllers for use in monitoring automobile and control vacuum pressure rates • Build robust humidity controllers that are routinely used in meat curing and food cultivation • Work closely with a customer to understand their needs, and determine the most appropriate type of sensor/ temperature controller, before building a custom cooling control system to support a solenoid valve • Serve as a point of expertise and support in the resolution of complex technical/electrical issues on temperature controllers, pressure controllers, humidity controllers, RTD sensors, thermocouple sensors, and pressure transducers (amongst other instruments): • Review information provided by customers and/or perform comprehensive inspections of each instrument to determine the root cause of the issue • Leverage product knowledge to develop effective solutions, before replacing hardware, fixing firmware, or implementing other corrective actions to restore full functionality • Plan and conduct sensor temperature tests, input power, and output loads tests (using multimeters and realloads) on temperature controllers, humidity controllers, solid state relay, and contactors • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including global suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams to procure the parts required to build control panel systems • Manage large electrical product sales for external companies by capturing insights into their specific needs, providing quotes, and structuring and closing large wholesale deals • Maintain quality standards by coordinating international supply chains, to include supplier engagement order placing, and shipping – checking bills to identify errors/quality issues before liaising with suppliers for resolution
