I am currently the MD & business development director at Express Transformers & Controls Ltd & Rollco Engineering. I am fortunate to have been involved in each company which has given me a knowledge in transformers, engineering, design service, site installation, voltage & electrical manufacturing. Being an MD & business development director allows me to be directly involved in the running & development of the steel engineering, & electrical manufacturing companies. Rollco Engineering was established in 1999. Situated in St. Helens, Rollco Engineering designs, manufactures, welds & provides site installation for steel fabrication products & machinery for a range of industries. We’re committed to providing high levels of design service & site installation. This is what sets us apart from our competitors. Our experience extends not only to design services & electrical manufacturing but to on- site installation too. In addition to my work in the steel fabrication industry, I am also the MD & business development director of Express Transformers & Controls Ltd: an electrical manufacturing company building high voltage transformers as well as a custom design service for bespoke transformers & chokes etc. A transformer is a product that coverts one voltage into another thus acting as a ratio device. A transformer can vary in size, ranging from the size of a fingernail to weighing just over a tonne. Since Express Transformers & Controls Ltd started in the 1950’s we still use the original methods of manufacturing a voltage transformer. The transformer market is very customer focused & each transformer is designed as per the customer’s specification, this make all our transformers unique.
