Aaron is an accountant at heart who is passionate about the Finance Optimization (formerly FAPA) solution cluster and offerings. As the world becomes more digital, he understands the need for finance functions to provide real-time, data-enabled decisions to improve operational efficiency and to create opportunities for business growth.In this role, Aaron is helping to drive firm’s strategy, cross service line teaming, and go to market approach in Asia-Pacific for this important FAAS growth pillar. He is also playing a critical role in the activation of the Finance Field of Play in Asia-Pacific.

Aaron is a founding member of the Greater China FAAS practice. In addition to provide client with traditional financial accounting advisory (such as GAAP conversion, new standards adoption, consolidation, IPO readiness), Aaron is currently leading the Greater China FAAS Digital services. Aaron combines accounting and reporting experience, analytics, and advanced technologies to help increase clients efficiency and operational excellence, and solve issues relating to clients finance and controllership functions.Since 2017, Aaron has continued to build and lead a talented team of professionals who specialize in RPA and other technology related matters. Through his leadership, the team has successfully implemented several large scale RPA and Finance Transformation projects. Aaron also advises clients on ways to effectively establish a sustainable RPA operation focused on strategy, governance model, operation and people.Aaron is also the Greater China FAAS Managed Services Lead and Dalian FAAS Hub Lead.

Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice is a team with deep experience in managing the implementation of accounting changes, ranging from a single accounting standard to the full project planning and global implementation of IFRS.We help CFOs, audit committees, treasurers, and other top financial executives understand the pending changes and assess the impact on their companies. We can provide focused technical assistance on planning an orderly, efficient transition — while helping reduce risks in financial and tax reporting, operations and information systems.We provide assistance on many of the current critical issues, including:- Implementation of new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS15 and ASC606 new revenue recognition, IFRS16 Leasing) - Advanced finance process, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA)- Customized dealer finance management for Automotive industry- FSCP and global reporting enhancement/accounting control or process support- On-call financial support/advice- IPO readiness and cross boarder post-transaction supports- IFRS/GAAP conversion support- Customized professional training solution
