Employment

Shanghai is a city with a large number of employment openings. Many foreign nationals work in a variety of industries here, from manufacturing to finance. Petrochemicals, electronics, chemicals, and steel are among the city's most important sectors. Teachers, too, will find lots of openings. If you have a background in finance or law, you might expect to get a work in Beijing. Shanghai's economy is home to 300 of the world's most prestigious companies.
