As a translator, you will be responsible for translating and localizing mobile game content from English to French. Key Responsibilities: Translation: Translate game dialogue, menus, tutorials, marketing materials, and other content from English to French, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the original meaning and tone. Localization: Adapt translations to suit cultural nuances and preferences of French-speaking players, ensuring an immersive and engaging experience. Quality Assurance: Review and proofread translations to ensure they are free of errors and inconsistencies. Collaboration: Work closely with game developers, designers, and other translators to ensure consistency and quality across all game content. Feedback Implementation: Address feedback from team members and players to continuously improve the quality of translations. Documentation: Maintain translation glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency and facilitate future translations. Qualifications: Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in French and excellent command of English. Experience: Proven experience in translating and localizing content, preferably in the gaming industry. Gaming Knowledge: Strong understanding of gaming terminology and trends, with a passion for mobile games. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
