3D Modeling: Create high-quality, accurate 3D models that align with design intent and engineering specifications. Problem Solving: Advise and propose solutions to address design and engineering challenges. Collaboration: Maintain close synergy between design, modeling, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive project execution. Regulatory Compliance: Consider engineering and design requirements, as well as legal regulations, in an independent and focused manner. Data Compilation: Compile data from team members to support engineering needs and milling activities. Project Management: Utilize project management skills to coordinate input and output between design and engineering teams. Lead project teams (internal or external) as necessary. Task Planning: Create detailed task and resource plans when required (LEAD). Issue Management: Escalate issues to the next level as necessary (LEAD). Presentations: Prepare CAS presentations to a predefined standard. Managerial Support: Act as a substitute for the respective manager in Design Team Consultations (DTCs), design reviews, and other meetings as needed. Surface Quality Assurance: Ensure that surface quality meets AVATR requirements for the relevant project phase. Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Education: Degree or equivalent in Automotive/Industrial Design or Engineering. Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Experience: 7+ years of experience in a global automotive context, preferably with OEMs. Technical Skills: Expert knowledge in Autodesk Alias required, Maya or SubD is a plus. Familiarity with Grasshopper, Blender, or rendering/VR software is a plus. High proficiency in modeling and delivering the highest surface quality. Project Management: Strong project management skills with proven experience in leading project teams and projects. Interpersonal Skills: Self-confidence and professionalism in collaborating with colleagues and partners. Communication Skills: Good verbal and visual communication skills.
