Job responsibilities
1. Teleoperation Algorithm Development - Research and implement advanced motion mapping control algorithms for humanoid robots and dexterous hands - Focus on achieving efficient, accurate, and stable robot motion and manipulation - Deploy developed algorithms and software onto corresponding hardware platforms 2. Simulation and Testing - Design and test teleoperation systems using simulation tools (Gazebo, Unity, RViz, etc.) - Conduct real-world performance testing to ensure system stability and reliability - Validate algorithm performance across different environments 3. System Optimization - Analyze issues identified during teleoperation and optimize system performance - Continuously iterate and improve algorithms based on testing results 4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing - Prepare clear technical documentation including design specifications and operational manuals - Provide technical support and training to team members
Job Requirements
We're Looking For Someone Who: 1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Control Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. 2. Technical Skills - Proficient in C++ or Python with strong coding standards and development practices - Experienced with Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) and common control algorithms (kinematics, dynamics, servo control) - Skilled in using simulation platforms (Gazebo, Unity, RViz, etc.) for development and testing 3. Professional Experience - Hands-on experience in developing robotic teleoperation systems (including surgical robotics applications) - Experience with force feedback teleoperation systems is preferred 4. Personal Competencies - Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Excellent teamwork skills with ability to collaborate effectively with hardware, software and algorithm teams - Genuine passion for robotics teleoperation with innovative mindset 5. Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with haptic/force feedback device development and integration - Knowledge of performance optimization methods and latency reduction techniques - Understanding of AI technologies (computer vision, reinforcement learning) and their application in teleoperation systems
