I. Basic Job Information
Job Title: Resident Pharmaceutical Foreign Trade Manager
Work Location: Assigned overseas postings (allocated in accordance with the company’s market layout; long-term assignment required).
Countries include: Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, South Africa, Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, Algeria, Angola, Morocco, Mozambique, Madagascar, etc.
Reports to: Foreign Trade Director / General Manager
Core Positioning: Responsible for the full-cycle operation of pharmaceutical foreign trade at the overseas resident post, focusing on market development, customer relationship management, and compliance control.
Concurrently communicate the company’s quality standards, assist customers in identifying counterfeit and substandard products, and safeguard pharmaceutical safety and the company’s brand reputation.
II. Core Job Responsibilities
Market Operation & Development
Manage pharmaceutical foreign trade business in the assigned country/region, develop high-quality overseas customers (local distributors, hospitals, medical procurement institutions, etc.), establish stable sales channels, and achieve the foreign trade performance targets set by the company.
Customer Communication & Relationship Management
Conduct full-process liaison with overseas customers, including inquiry, quotation, order negotiation, contract signing, shipment follow-up, and payment collection control.
Maintain relationships with existing customers, improve repurchase rates, and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
Quality & Compliance Communication
Clearly communicate the company’s core strengths to overseas customers and strengthen recognition of product quality.
Assist customers in investigating counterfeit products and protect the company’s brand reputation.
Compliance & Regulatory Adaptation
Be familiar with local pharmaceutical industry regulations, import and export policies, drug registration and filing requirements, and customs supervision rules in the resident country/region.
Ensure all foreign trade operations are fully compliant and avoid policy, legal, and industry compliance risks.
Market Feedback & Optimization
Conduct real-time research on local market dynamics, collect information on drug demand, competitors, price trends, and policy changes.
Submit regular market research reports to domestic headquarters, provide business optimization suggestions, and support headquarters in adjusting market strategies.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Coordinate with domestic headquarters on inventory preparation, logistics, customs declaration, and issuance of quality inspection reports to ensure smooth order execution.
Cooperate with headquarters in product promotion, academic promotion, and related activities.
Team Collaboration
Assist in establishing or managing a small local team according to business needs, provide on-the-job training and daily management to ensure efficient goal achievement.
When no team management is required, independently undertake all foreign trade-related work at the resident post.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or above.
Preferred majors: International Trade, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Business English, etc.
Candidates with degrees from well-known overseas universities are preferred.
Language Skills
Fluent bilingual communication skills (English mandatory).
Proficiency in local languages (French, Spanish, Arabic, etc.) is a plus, matching the assigned region.
Able to proficiently conduct business negotiations, draft contracts, and communicate via emails in two languages, with independent customer liaison capability.
Experience
At least 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical foreign trade, familiar with the full process of pharmaceutical import and export (customs clearance, inspection, logistics, payment collection, etc.).
Overseas resident working experience is preferred.
Existing overseas pharmaceutical customer resources (distributors, hospital procurement, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality standards and product identification, with experience in addressing counterfeit products is a plus.
Residency Requirement
Willing to work long-term at the assigned overseas post, adaptable to overseas living environments, capable of independently handling daily work and emergencies, and compliant with the company’s assignment and adjustment arrangements.
Compliance Requirements
Strictly abide by pharmaceutical industry compliance regulations, with no record of violations in pharmaceutical foreign trade.
Familiar with overseas pharmaceutical regulatory policies (e.g., FDA, EMA).
Strong sense of compliance and pharmaceutical safety awareness.
Communication & Negotiation Skills
Excellent business negotiation and customer communication skills.
Able to clearly convey product advantages, quality standards, and pricing logic, effectively resolve customer objections, and promote order closure.
Capable of properly handling customer inquiries regarding product quality and counterfeit identification.
Professionalism
Honest, upright, with good professional ethics and no record of commercial fraud or violations.
Good teamwork spirit, able to efficiently cooperate with domestic headquarters.
Strong learning ability, able to quickly master product knowledge, quality standards, and overseas market regulations.
IV. Additional Requirements
Proficient in Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with basic data analysis capabilities, able to complete performance statistics and market report writing.
Able to learn the company’s product portfolio (training provided), identify with the company’s quality philosophy, and proactively communicate quality advantages and assist customers in counterfeit product identification.
No bad credit record, no illegal overseas residence or illegal employment record.
Able to provide legal entry-exit documents and relevant qualifications for overseas work.
