About YouPhD in Applied Econometrics, Data Science or Economics with a strong quantitative focus, or a closely related field. OR near to completion of a PhDA strong skill portfolio demonstrating applied experience with:Causal inference/econometrics (e.g., IV, DiD, RDD).Machine learning methods (e.g., ML for prediction, NLP, causal forests, reinforcement learning).Handling large and complex datasets.Expert-level programming in Python or R for data analysis and model implementation.High proficiency with Git for version control. Experience with database querying (e.g., SQL).Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clarity on complex information.Ability to creatively apply relevant research approaches, models, techniques and methods. Ability to assess and organise resource requirements and deploy effectively.Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others, both internally and externally.A clear understanding of research ethics, data security, and confidentiality protocols related to working with sensitive data.Proven project management abilities, impeccable organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.About Us
