Responsibilities include but are not limited to Lead and drive local to local. Establish governance, communicate and influence key business stakeholders, lead cross-functional team to develop and execute sourcing project strategy, ensure decisions meet business needs and align with divisional strategy Research, evaluate and develop potential high performance domestic suppliers in order to achieve product sourcing strategies, meet project timelines and meet product PK targets. Lead and manage all NPI projects from sourcing side and report on progress in project meetings. Provide project management and sourcing support for new product development activities, liaise with local and overseas technical NPI project engineers, quality engineers and manufacturing engineers. Ensure that right suppliers are invloved and selected for NPI projects so that the project cost and quality target are fully met. Ensure that all materials and services required by NPI project team are procured within agreed parameters, quality, inventory levels and delivery performance for all production suppliers in a timely and efficient manner. Provide leadership and risk management for cost and quality-based improvements Define commodity and supply strategy in order to drive down product total costs and maximise quality. This may include renegotiation, value engineering, price and quotation analysis, supplier development, supplier rationalisation, make vs. buy, outsourcing, strategic sourcing and demand management. Continually review all NPI purchasing systems/procedures and ensure that all supply management policies (tools, procedures, measures and processes) are commonly applied across sites and continuously developed strategies and implement improvement where appropriate. Support and develop with the supplier a relation which is focused on continuous improvement and excellence in delivery performance. To succeed, you will need Bachelor and above Degree in Engineering or Business and Administration or equivalent knowledge through working experience At least 3~5 years of experience in Purchasing/Sourcing in industrial manufacturing company, preferred with leadership or management experience Program management skill or proved large scale project handling examples Technical knowledge of commodities to include but not limited to, Casting, Mechanical, Motors, Fabrication, Pipework and Vacuum components Result driven person, with interpersonal skills Good computer skill, SAP knowledge is a plus, but not necessary Good command of English language both oral & writing
