MERCHANDISER - German CompanyWe are the buying agent of a leading online mail order company in Germany, who specialised in audio products and consumer electronics. To cope with our expansion in Asia we are seeking for candidates to join our team of Merchandiser with following requiries: Responsibility: •Supplier selection in terms of costs, quality, production capacity and delivery reliability •Development of new ideas of costs optimization •Liaison with suppliers from product sourcing to pricing negotiation •Order follow up from production to QC and delivery •Preparing and checking of various order documents ie. Requirements: •Diploma/degreed and above •3-4 years experience in purchasing for the EU market with an affinity to comsumer electronics •Strong analytical and problem solving skills •A general knowledge of logistics •Proficiency with MS Office especially Excel and Word •Good command of English and Chinese •Good understanding of EU standards and regulations concerning product safety
