• Follow the Montessori lead teacher to manage the class daily. • Under lead teacher’s direction, set up and maintain a Montessori environment. • Guarantee all supplies and materials needed for class are present, protect class property, be responsible for the material storage, and help fix broken ones if needed. • Responsible for management of class property with the other teachers in your classroom. • Able to deal with emergencies, and accidents/incidents in a timely manner with your lead teacher. • Responsible for all kinds of safety work for class with your lead teacher. • Under academic director’s guidance, finish English lesson planning, English lesson teaching, and evaluate children’s English level. • Follow lead teacher’s arrangement to help prepare lunch or snacks, indoor and outdoor activities, etc. • Participate in trainings and other related assignments. • Accomplish daily teaching records. • Highly cooperate to do enrollment activities, parent workshops, and other related events in and out of school. • Develop and share English teaching lesson plans. • Keep in touch with parents properly, and follow rules of school to communicate with parents about children’s English learning. • Follow school’s regulations and dress code. • Native English speakers only, currently residing in China • Bachelors Degree or above. Educational qualification preferred (legalized and authenticated by Chinese Embassy) • Non-criminal record within 6 months (legalized and authenticated by Chinese Embassy) • Minimum of 2 years’ previous teaching experience (preferably children aged 3-6) including reference letters of previous employers • TEFOL/TESL qualification • Has a passion to teach children and be part of a hardworking team. • Must be able to work in a team and independently; • Must have strong sense of responsibility.
