Job Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain complete knowledge at all times of below however, not limited to - Layout and facilities of the house - H&S regulations - House preventive maintenance plan - Maintenance services calendar - House maintenance files and records - All in house systems: security access system, gas, electricity, water, boiler, AV, AC, lifts, pool, Spa, wine cellar, appliance, security system, fire alarm system, etc. - Garden and fish pond maintenance - Contact lists of suppliers and sub-contractors - Create and implement house preventive maintenance plan, maintain accurate records - Establish checklist, routinely check facilities in house, carryout repairs in timely manner, report major repairs to House Manager - Establish and maintain house H&S standards, and provide training to all staff - Conduct risk assessment, and maintain accurate records on file - Inspect all plant rooms and back of house area, ensure areas are maintained inline with H&S regulations - Review maintenance services plan with contractors, advise House Manager for any changes may need - Escort and supervise contractors working onsite, inspect outcomes, and report to House Manager - Build and maintain strong relationship with contractors and suppliers, to ensure most cost effective solutions - Source suppliers, products, new services to meet house maintenance requirement QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENT - 1. At least five years of experience in facility or engineering management within a five-star hotel or high-end private residential estate, with proficiency in routine inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of key systems and equipment; strong understanding of technical aspects, functionalities, and operational procedures of various residential systems; - 2. Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance, plumbing, IT equipment, or smart home systems are preferred; - 3. Strong awareness of confidentiality and discretion; - 4. Extensive experience in managing contractors and suppliers, with a solid understanding of cost control and the ability to provide professional recommendations on maintenance service costs; - 5. Proficiency in both Mandarin and English as working languages; must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
