Job Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning & Resource Development Formulate annual air freight procurement plans and capacity strategies aligned with the company's overall business development goals. Manage global capacity deployment on core trade lanes; establish and maintain first-tier agency relationships with domestic and international airlines, charter operators, and industry partners. Continuously explore new air freight gateways and routing solutions to optimize network combinations and ensure peak-season space security. 2. Procurement Management & Cost Control Oversee the company's overall air freight procurement costs; secure competitive market pricing through tendering, Block Space Agreements (BSA), or charter arrangements. Monitor market freight rate fluctuations to formulate flexible pricing strategies that balance corporate profitability with market share. Lead the negotiation and execution of air freight contracts to ensure terms maximize the company's commercial interests. 3. Operational Support & Cross-department Collaboration Act as the core interface for resource allocation, providing robust capacity support to frontline sales teams and overseas branches. Resolve critical capacity bottlenecks for major shipment projects to ensure the smooth transportation of bulk and urgent cargo. Collaborate with the Operations Department to streamline booking processes, improving cut-off efficiency and cargo turnover rates. 4. Team Building & Management Lead the Air Freight Resources team by setting clear KPI metrics to enhance the team's professional negotiation skills and market acuity. Manage talent development, performance evaluation, and succession planning within the department. Establish and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve departmental management efficiency. 5. Market Analysis & Risk Management Conduct regular air freight market analysis to assess the impact of industry policy changes (e.g., aviation safety regulations, trade policies) on capacity. Manage the supplier pool and develop contingency plans (backup plans) to mitigate operational risks arising from flight cancellations or capacity shortages.
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications: Education:​ Bachelor’s degree or above. Experience:​ At least 3-5 years of experience in international air freight, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Skills:​ Strong negotiation skills, extensive airline network resources, and in-depth familiarity with the Vietnam air freight market and cross-border logistics landscape. Language:​ Fluent in both Vietnamese and Chinese (Mandarin); Cantonese proficiency is a plus. Traits:​ High sense of responsibility, resilience under pressure, and a strong team player.
