One semester away on an exchanged program to Japan was all it took for me to realize my passion for conducting Research and Applied Statistics, as well as a focus on topics of Public Policy and Development Economics. Due to the exposure of different cultures from having been residing in the Philippines to Malaysia, and most recently to Japan, I have been a language enthusiast my whole life dedicated to mastering each vernacular one step at a time. My current experience as a Mandarin instructor with 4+ years of experience in tutoring, instructing, and translation work. I've worked with students and clients across a broad range of schools and industries, including but not limited to Singapore School, hospitality, retail, and service. I have tutored K-12 Students with their mandarin homework, conducted Mandarin classes to help clients from all industries in enhancing their mandarin language proficiency, and did translation work requests from hotels and retail stores for Mandarin translations to improve tourist experience.
