Cescaphe Event Group2019.05-2020.07(a year)Since the beginning of May 2019, I began to build my recruiting skills. I have filled positions by analyzing hundreds of resumes, and picking out the most qualified candidates via our careers website, partnering with employment centers such as Careerlink and Philabundance, as well as connecting to potential employees at career fairs. I have also processed over a hundred new hires, while simultaneously improving the on-boarding process as easy and seamless as possible. Throughout this learning experience, I have created different strategies on processing new employees as efficiently and effectively as possible. For instance, if an employee does not have access to the internet at home, I will set aside an hour ( or two) in my day to assist the new hire with our online paperwork. This internship has also given me general exposure to off-boarding, lay-off procedures, employee conflict & resolution, data analytics, enhancing company culture, and much more. I found success in my role by utilizing multiple communication vehicles to ensure messages and objectives are clear, embracing patience to learn, and bringing great enthusiasm when introducing myself to whoever I meet!TUSHRM VP of Data Analytics & Research
