1.Student academic degree programs and exchange programs•Designed, developed, managed, publicized and promoted the 1+2+1 Dual-Degree Program to AASCU/CCIEE member institutions and assisted the developing and expanding of the program from 2 U.S. universities in 2003 to 35 AASCU member institutions in 2018 with more than 3500 Chinese students studied on U.S. campuses•Established a special program with the Chinese Embassy to set aside 25 Chinese government scholarships each year for AASCU member institutions students to study in China for one semester or one academic year2.Faculty professional development China Studies Institute and Japan Studies Institute •Managed the China Studies Institute for selected junior faculty members in various disciplines to participate this three-week lectures, workshops, and field studies in China. •Supervised Japan Studies Institute for program promotion, candidate selection, and program evaluation. This is a two-week program in June every year at San Diego State University for American faculty members in the field to update their knowledge and skillsVisiting Instructors Program (VIP)•Managed and coordinated the Visiting Instructors Program for faculty members from AASCU member institutions to teach short-term and long-term in Chinese partner institutions. 3.Leadership Training and Outreach•Designed, planned, and organized 1+2+1 Program Presidents’ Forum, annual conference, and graduation ceremony each year for participating institution’s senior administrators•Planned, organized, and coordinated annual Chinese university officials’ visits to U. S. and to AASCU partner universities •Liaised with partner organizations like US-China Strong Foundation, NAFSA, IIE, EducationUSA, NASPA, and Chinese Education Association for International Education (CEAIE), etc. for program development regarding student and professional exchange between China and USA on the platform of CHEPD Program

•Designed, developed, and coordinated the Vocational Education Leadership Training (VELT) Program for college presidents from Chinese vocational and technical institutions. This program was a five-year cooperative project between AACC and the Chinese Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and was targeted to train 500 college presidents from China and prepare them for the reform in vocational and technical institutions set by the MOE and Chinese government.•Participated in the pre-selection of US host community colleges for the VELT program and coordinated with hosting colleges, AACC, CEAIE and Chinese technical colleges for the four-week long training in the US for three years starting 2007•Coordinated training arrangement with US hosting community colleges for the VELT participants when they were on US campuses for the training curriculum and travel agenda •Assisted US community colleges in finding partner colleges in China for student, faculty and other international education exchanges

Director of Educational Credential Evaluation 1999-2002•Supervised junior/senior evaluators performing educational credential evaluations for the following countries and areas: Asia, the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth countries, the Former Soviet Union and Eastern European countries, the Spanish-speaking countries, and the Middle East. The purpose of these evaluations was for immigration/non-immigrate working visas and/or university and college admissions. •Developed and updated training programs for new staff on different educational systems around the world •Served as company liaison with the American university’s foreign educational credential evaluation community•Communicated with immigration attorneys regarding their clients’ specific needs related to immigration regulations and laws
