I create lessons, including PPTs, handouts and test papers for all grades. I teach after school classes to students, focusing on improving reading ability and performing short plays or stories in English. I organised reward systems, giving prizes to students with great behaviour and to those with the greatest improvements. I walk the students to lunch after class, organising them into lines and maintaining order while walking. I help Chinese colleagues prepare English class and help teach when required.

Shenzhen Oriental English College (October 2013 – June 2014) 深圳东方英文书院Xuezi Road, Hourui, Baoan, Shenzhen, China 中国深圳布宝安区后瑞学子路Primary School English TeacherDuties: Full time English teacher, teaching oral English to primary school students (aged 6 – 12). I created teaching materials and lessons, occasionally following the topics from an English book provided by the school. I produced and evaluated an oral and written English exam for each grade at the end of semesters. I corrected English spelling and grammar in school documents, newletters and Chinese teachers’ lesson plans. I wrote and produced an English drama show for Parent’s Day and fun English activities for Fun Friday. I participated in PYP meetings to plan oral English exams and the PYP curriculum with the other PYP teachers.
