Job responsibilities: be mainly in charge of customer: Alibaba. Project background: Alibaba has a urgent demand to setup a data center in Dubai. Under dual pressure of CNY and international logistics, managed the sourcing from different domestic supplier, transshipment in HK, final delivery to Middle East. The role: End to End supplier chain Lead 1, supplier chain development: Evaluated 7 target suppliers within 1 week and completed supplier onboarding in EMEA. Designed “HK consolidation warehouse→Dubai DWC airport” to avoid single transportation risk. 2, Gantt chart timeline control: Deconstructed key steps: supplier onboarding→PO release→domestic logistic→HongKong transshipment Documentation→air freight booking→custom clearance→local delivery. Used shared Gantt chart to keep on the same page, escalated with auto-triggered workflows for delayed tasks. 3, Cross-time Zone Crisis management: Daily meeting with supplier/customer/forwarder and evening meeting with PM syns (Middle East team), resolving critical issues including: 1) Supplier Shortage Crisis: due to CNY, factory’s limited capacity caused shortage. Escalated to expedite manufacturing and arranged air shipment to HK. 2)Customer demand change: Alibaba revised shipment to 3 separated data center, immediately inform vendors to separate packing based on updated request and re-pallet together at HK hub. Project Achievements: 1)50% cycle time reduction: slashed standard 60-90 days to 37 days(including CNY holidays), setting EMEA’s fastest deployment record. 2)Client Expansion: secured 200% procurement share growth in Europe(10%→30% for 2025) based on demonstrated operational excellence.
