Electrical distribution (LV & MV) varied from Kilowatts (kW/kVA) to Gigawatts (i.e. zero-emission colocation campuses). Milestone drawing sets were issued weekly or biweekly for standard projects and monthly for large-scale campuses. Performed simulation and analysis of mission critical electrical distribution systems per NFPA-70E, for both medium and low voltage, under licensed engineer's supervision. Studies performed in ETAP & PTW software. Studies and work included: load flow, voltage drop calculations, Neher-McGrath thermal studies for underground systems and duct banks at medium voltage, short circuit coordination studies, arc flash analysis and labeling, medium voltage relay coordination, and low voltage trip unit coordination. Plots of time-current curves were issued alongside overcurrent protection settings, formatted in Excel. Responsible for creating scripts and programs to automate and validate engineering design across multiple disciplines. Scripting work performed in C, XML, Dynamo.
