In my second year on the program, I split my time with a nearby public International high school that focused on using English for academic purposes. There, I prepared original lessons, coached speech and essay contests, performance-based assessments, and utilized a variety of methods to increase academic rigor (e.g. Marzano for vocabulary, project-based learning, etc.)
