My aim is to provide value to both sides as we seek to help schools of the future create regenerative learning spaces for their leaders and their whole school communities.

I provide freelance university advice and guidance services for international students, in-market services for higher education clients as well as consulting services to a range of organisations worldwide. My projects have included:• Devising and delivering Learning Conferences for Leading Independent Schools • Curating and promoting campaigns for BridgeUs network of university partners •Project Management of UK promotional tours for US- based high school guidance counsellors as part of the British Council•Forming a qualitative international liaison strategy for The University of Sydney•Lycée Français de New York: Acting as a consultant-at-large on UK university applications• University application advice & personal statement guidance to international students & families• Representing Study UK at various events across Spain including media interviews• A full website review, copy editing and proofreading project for the United World College Costa Rica• The Design and Resourcing of a DEIJ focused section of the website for ECIS (Educational Collaborative for International Schools)

I worked with our community of families and alumni to ensure that our school achieved its most ambitious aspirations, celebrating the diversity of voices that make the school unique. I oversaw a capital campaign to support the construction of a brand new Center for Creativity and Innovation, raising more funds than in the schools recent giving history (close to 400K), as well as reinvigorating the alumni body with a series of events and communications tailored for different audiences.

I worked holistically with students and families to find the right post-secondary options for them. I strongly believe individual success is different for each and every one of us, and I encouraged and supported my students to explore their skillsets, discover passions and find new talents and interests. My motivation: to help young people find a way to create meaning in their lives and create good change in the world, either through further studies, work or whatever passion projects they choose.

My mission was to link high schoolers & careers educators to the emerging future of work and to enable career exploration in an experiential, purpose-driven and future-ready way, all on one platform. Through authentic connection to one another during COVID, we all learned better.

In this contract role I conceived the delivery of a bespoke international student recruitment strategy, BridgeU Campaigns: bringing in ideas as an experienced (school-side) user of the platform and as a former university marketer. My role was to advise on the overall user experience and work on counsellor and university partner outreach, as well as to devise and deliver conference policy panels with senior international education leaders.

My role was created to set up the office of Careers Advising at Aloha College, a British international school offering the IB Diploma and A-Levels in Marbella, Spain, guiding graduating classes of between 50 and 60 students of multiple nationalities. Embedding career guidance into the school curriculum for students aged 11-18 was my main remit, but I also set up policies and structures within the college to support students, parents and teachers and provide best-practice information, advice and guidance. In November 2018 I delivered the school’s first Learning Conference, entitled Careers Of Purpose: we welcomed universities from Spain, the UK and the US to help students find meaning in what they might want to change in the world or do with their skills.I also co-coach the school´s fledgling debate team, who placed fourth in their first national competition, and have supported students to engage in the first Makers Club - as the College works towards its goal of becoming a STEAM-B hub on the Costa del Sol. I delivered the 2nd annual Learning Conference in October 2019 boasting a Design and Technology focus, welcoming 15 universities from four countries and keynote speakers from several countries to an audience of over 500 students and parents from three local schools.

• I provided information, advice and guidance to a diverse socioeconomic group of students on all parts of the university application process, contributing to a calendar of presentations and information sessions on applications to different universities worldwide. I updated our school profile, viewable at http://bit.ly/2dxpHbO• I offered interview preparation to my students, proofread personal statements, collected predicted grades from teaching staff and wrote reference letters for half of a class of 95.• In our office we arranged regular transportation for SAT tests, reminding students of dates and necessary preparation. We also invigilated standardised UK admissions tests; providing personalised interview and test preparation materials.• I advised on applications to summer/ co-curricular programmes across the globe, liaising with teachers on recommendations.• I welcomed university visits from Higher Education institutions (approx. 80 annually) and maintained a database of personal contacts in university admissions and international offices worldwide. • I attended seminars, university fly-ins and conferences, (IACAC as a delegate, as a presenter at CIS Latin America) to remain informed of developments in all areas of education policy, ensuring that relevant information was relayed to students.• I taught IB1 and IB2 students Theory of Knowledge for the International Baccalaureate, facilitating class discussion, presentation and essay-writing preparation, and giving feedback on official assessments.

My duties included:•Providing personalised college admissions and financial aid counselling to assigned students and their parents;•Composing original letters of recommendation for assigned students;•Meeting established deadlines across various systems;•Participating in large and small group presentations to students and parents;•Handling confidential materials with discretion and empathy;•Contributing to the planning and management of office programs and policies;•Working closely and collaboratively with Lycée faculty and staff;•Assisting with the administration of the AP and PSAT examinations and registering and invigilating for standardised Oxford and Cambridge admissions tests;•Providing personalised interview and test preparation materials;•Advising on applications to summer and co-curricular programmes across the globe, providing updates on deadlines and liaising with teachers on recommendations;• Representing the Lycée to college admissions representatives and growing and retaining our network of trusted contacts;•Visiting college campuses and attending professional conferences and growing the Lycées network of contacts as well as advocating in our students interests.

· Built and retained relationships with schools, universities, educational bodies and various external stakeholders across Europe for Kings, focusing on our key European markets of France, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Switzerland.· Represented the College at exhibitions and school/university visits across Europe and the UK, specialising in giving information, advice and guidance on a range of topics from UCAS applications and personal statements to living in London and choosing the right course. · Oversaw the development and implementation of specific marketing plans for target audiences within my markets, as well as undertaking annual reviews.· Held responsibility for regional and College-based conversion events for students holding an offer of study with Kings and looked for innovative ways to target the best students.· Organised regular activities in key European markets for the World Class Study in London group (Kings, LSE, UCL, Imperial) - leading on missions to Switzerland, Spain and Scandinavia. I have also represented Kings on WCSiL activities in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and Singapore.· Managed the delivery of other UK based events including Open Days, campus tours, school visits, and other ad-hoc events and conferences. · Creatively contributed to the production of international communications pieces, presentations and campaigns to internal and external stakeholders. · Worked in cooperation with external suppliers to create marketing and promotional materials including video profiles for the website and printed communication pieces such as posters, promotional items and bespoke flyers. · Directly line managed our UK/EU Marketing Assistant and deputised for the Marketing Manager UK/Europe with oversight of a team of 5.

· I represented the College at exhibitions and during school/university visits across Europe, the UK, and other markets as required (China, Malaysia, Singapore). · As part of the International marketing team, I monitored, evaluated, contributed to and responded to student recruitment opportunities, including the development and implementation of specific marketing plans for target audiences. · I established and nurtured relationships with feeder institutions and other intermediaries as appropriate and in liaison with the wider marketing, alumni and communications teams. · I managed the delivery of other UK based events including the International Question Time event for graduate offer holders. · I represented the College at overseas meetings, visits, and presentations and also assisted with visiting delegations of important partner institutions. · I contributed to the production of International communications, presentations and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders and edited the International staff e-zine. · I liaised with suppliers to create marketing and promotional materials including video profiles for the website and printed communication pieces such as posters and brochures. · I line managed the work of the International Assistant for EMEA.

· I undertook extensive marketing and student recruitment activities in the EU, UK, North Africa, Eastern Europe and North America, generating large numbers of new leads and applications for the university. · Responsibility for all PR and external communications activities, including liaising with press contacts and finding publicity opportunities for faculty members, depending on expertise and areas of specialisation. · Organised open days, events and presentations, including Provost Speaker Series events and regular open days to attract students to the university. · Edited and wrote copy for all in-house publications and promotional materials, and wrote all template letters for communication with students from the Office of Admissions. · Organised registration and orientation of new and returning students, including file management and timetabling, and managing junior staff members. · Point of contact for EF Language schools ­ a partner company. I travelled to EF schools across the UK to promote our programmes.
