    My role was created to set up the office of Careers Advising at Aloha College, a British international school offering the IB Diploma and A-Levels in Marbella, Spain, guiding graduating classes of between 50 and 60 students of multiple nationalities. Embedding career guidance into the school curriculum for students aged 11-18 was my main remit, but I also set up policies and structures within the college to support students, parents and teachers and provide best-practice information, advice and guidance. In November 2018 I delivered the school’s first Learning Conference, entitled Careers Of Purpose: we welcomed universities from Spain, the UK and the US to help students find meaning in what they might want to change in the world or do with their skills.I also co-coach the school´s fledgling debate team, who placed fourth in their first national competition, and have supported students to engage in the first Makers Club - as the College works towards its goal of becoming a STEAM-B hub on the Costa del Sol. I delivered the 2nd annual Learning Conference in October 2019 boasting a Design and Technology focus, welcoming 15 universities from four countries and keynote speakers from several countries to an audience of over 500 students and parents from three local schools.
