  My role In short, it is my responsibility to create and develop any material, strategies or events for our legal solutions teams all over the country. My initial target was to standardise the On-boarding experience for the entire company. · Reviewed and changed process for e-learning across group, increasing completion within required timescales from 78% to 96% · Re-designed and led Paralegal to Lead Lawyer training within our CRM for pre and post-litigated regulatory changes · Designed and led a coaching and validation programme for mentors across the Keoghs/Davies business area to increase mentor performance. Results showed increase in mentor performance, ‘streamlining’ of number of mentors and increased development of employees · Recruitment and continual development of L&D partners to support business demand and evolving direction of L&D function. · Design and implementation of competency standards for L&D positions to ensure internal and regulatory requirements are achieved. · Design and implementation of Training plans, Competency matrix and Probationary Sign- off forms. · Led the learning and development team to support profitable business growth and strategic planning, whilst ensuring leadership development, skills enhancement, talent development and regulatory compliance remained high on employees’ agendas · Created and implemented personal development tools, training and programmes to support self-directed development · Coached and mentored directors and peers to increase their personal effectiveness

  At Think Money, I took on a few roles within the organisation. Initially at an entry-level as reimbursement adviser. This wasn’t really what I wanted to do however it introduced me to hard sales. This developed my open questions abilities and object handling skills. I moved up the ladder here into secured lending, this was anything from mortgages to second charges on their homes. I had a real desire to focus on clients who needed this service to help with their financial needs. Helping people struggling with debt or to accomplish a dream they have always had provided a great deal of satisfaction in a job that was very challenging. I learned to work under great pressure under highly restricted parameters under the FCA and PRU regulations. Whilst in the role I was lucky enough to have my Dad in the same business. He worked as Learning & Development Manager and once I showed an interest that is more of a passion he allowed me to shadow sessions, offer support and deliver small exercises.
