Think Money Group2015.01-2017.01(2 years)At Think Money, I took on a few roles within the organisation. Initially at an entry-level as reimbursement adviser. This wasn’t really what I wanted to do however it introduced me to hard sales. This developed my open questions abilities and object handling skills. I moved up the ladder here into secured lending, this was anything from mortgages to second charges on their homes. I had a real desire to focus on clients who needed this service to help with their financial needs. Helping people struggling with debt or to accomplish a dream they have always had provided a great deal of satisfaction in a job that was very challenging. I learned to work under great pressure under highly restricted parameters under the FCA and PRU regulations. Whilst in the role I was lucky enough to have my Dad in the same business. He worked as Learning & Development Manager and once I showed an interest that is more of a passion he allowed me to shadow sessions, offer support and deliver small exercises.
