I embarked on my role at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law in February 2025, where Im tasked with instructing undergraduates in spoken English and Practical Writing, predominantly at the Qingpu campus for Spring Semester. It came as a surprise to find myself back at this campus after more than four years! The spoken English course I conduct is essential for students across various disciplines such as translation, law, and others, as it is integrated into their non-English major curriculum. Meanwhile, the Practical Writing course is mandatory for students majoring in English, who are required to take writing courses as part of their degree program in English at the university.Undergraduate Course for non-English majors: Speaking 6Undergraduate Course for English majors: Practical Writing

I commenced my position at East China Normal University in September 2024, focusing on delivering spoken English lessons to undergraduates across the Putuo and Minhang campuses. The majority of these students, who have declared English as their minor, are actually from a variety of other institutions within Shanghai, with only a small portion being native to this university. The spoken English course stands as a required component of their minor curriculum, and the number of enrollees fluctuates each semester depending on student preferences. This ever-changing educational landscape provides me with the opportunity to interact with students from diverse academic realms and to customize my instruction to address their specific requirements.Courses: Speaking 6 and Speaking 7 (English Minor)
