Since June 13, 2016, I have been with the Department of Education, Oroquieta City Division, where I teach Senior High School subjects such as Oral Communication in Context, Reading and Writing Skills, English for Academic and Professional Purposes, 21st Century Literature and Practical Research. My nine years as an educator in the Philippines' Department of Education have profoundly shaped my teaching approach. I've gained extensive experience in adapting to diverse learning styles and addressing the varied needs of students, including those facing reading and comprehension challenges. This has cultivated in me a deep sense of empathy, patience, and innovation. I firmly believe in validating and processing students' emotions and actions, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. As one of the Senior High School Reading Coordinators, I've been actively involved in implementing reading intervention programs.
