I have been teaching English, Conversational and Writing, English Literature, Public Speaking, English for Academic Purposes, English Writing, Conversational English, Newspaper Reading, British Culture, Extensive Reading, Comprehensive English, the Listening course to the English majors and university students majoring in other subjects for more than 23 years in China. ⚫ I’ve also been teaching Russian, Conversational, Writing, Media Studies to Russian majors and Tech/Arts students for more than 10 years in China since 2013. ⚫ Worked out my own courses and teaching materials in Conversational Russian and Russian Writing, Conversational English, English Writing, Listening, Newspaper Reading and for colleges and high schools in China. ⚫ Consulted Chinese university and school teachers of English on the curriculum development and teaching different subjects in the English curriculum ⚫ Consulted the teachers of Russian on teaching Russian and using the media for the language teaching. ⚫ Advised students on their BA dissertations in Literature, Cultural Comparisons and Applied Linguistics for 8 years. ⚫ I’ve chaired the research groups in different colleges, some of them up to 15 college teachers and students preparing for academic careers and their articles get published in peer-reviewed editions in Asia. ⚫ Taught Conversational Russian and Russian Writing at Chinese universities for 10 years. ⚫ Taught and coordinated English Writing courses in Chinese universities for 11 years. ⚫ Published books and articles on China in Russian and articles on teaching English in China and Chinese university life (in English and in Russian) in peer-refereed journals. ⚫ Participated in many international conferences and forums on English Language Teaching, Linguistics, Culture Studies, Russian Studies, Teaching Russian and Philosophy ⚫ 17 undergraduates in the research group I’ve supervised presented their findings at international TEFL, EFL, TESOL, Linguistics conferences in many Asian counties. ⚫ Taught the Conversational English course online to hundreds of Chinese students of different majors. ⚫ Instructed Russian-speaking students of different levels from the beginner to advanced, in Conversational English and professional English (IT, Law, Economics), also the learners of Chinese at the beginner and pre-intermediate level for 6 years. I used Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, WeChat, the online platforms, the Communicative Language Teaching and student-centered approach. ⚫ Organized extra-curricular activities in the Russian Department of Shijiazhuang University and the South-West Petroleum University and the English Departments of Jiaying University and Guangxi University. ⚫ Consulted the language training schools in different cities in China ⚫ Reviewed the academic papers for the journal Creative Education, papers related to TESOL, ESL, EFL and teaching English in China ⚫ Participated in the Nizhny Novgorod Philosophy Society as a presenter and contributor
