I am a Proposal Manager for our Energy business, leading on bids to private and public clients, including IFIs/funding organisations, developers and governments. I coordinate bids with our colleagues and subcontractors in other countries to put together strong bids with a demonstrable focus on providing the best people to ensure a satisfactory, innovative project for our client and assisting in the drive towards a cleaner world.I previously focussed on our Renewables business, bidding on Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage System and Onshore Wind development projects in the UK and across the world, with many projects in Africa and the Middle East.My strengths lie in proposal writing and review. With an excellent level of attention to detail, I am able to break down the requirements of an RFP and formulate answers to help maximise scoring opportunities.

Coordination of bids within the Power Generation division of WSP (formerly Parsons Brinckerhoff). Projects include Lenders Technical Engineer, Independent Engineer, Owners Engineer and cover all power generation technologies including CCGT, renewable (primarily wind and solar) and conventional thermal. Role includes coordination of governance, preparation of bid documents and management of bid process.

I prepare bids for Power Generation (thermal, renewable) projects in the UK and abroad.

Preparation of planning applications, including associated documents such as EIA, for wind developments. Bid writing and coordination for renewable projects.

Coordination of EIA for variation to planning permission for Edinbane Wind Farm, Isle of Skye.

Preparation of planning applications for small scale wind turbine developments for a major supermarket chain, including design & access statements, liaison with councils and site feasibility studies.
