Thanks to an apprenticeship and continued career with a global leading switchgear / transformer manufacturer I have a wealth of knowledge spanning through all areas involved within the manufacturing process from raw material up to finished product and everything in between. My time working in various electrical switchgear/transformer tendering / contracts roles taught me serious customer service skills and the importance of delivering customer requirements / specification right first time. - Portfolio management is key and I am able to offer this. My work in global marketing responsible for ENA switchgear and relay certification upto 66kV gave me time working towards each UK DNO requirement through the ENA panel so the business can successfully sell to UK DNO's ensuring continued profitability and growth. I travelled to factories all over the world with many customers to successfully audit manufacturing facilities. I am able to work with people of all backgrounds and cultures and do not find it difficult to achieve a positive result. Also a STEM ambassador fulfilling a personal ambition to inspire the next generation of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematical based students and discuss the advantages of working in the engineering industry. Education - Successfully graduated Leeds Metropolitan University with a high class 2:1 BSc in mechanical engineering including management of new technologies.
