Facilitator and trainer in EU AID volunteer Initiative: It is an initiative that brings together organisations from different countries, providing practical support to humanitarian aid projects and contributing to strengthening the local capacity and resilience of disaster-affected communities

•Participated in the development of the CID economic growth strategy and advised the SL Tourism Vision 2025.•Developed a growth analysis of the tourism informal sector (evaluation and recommendations of the current regulation); 2 case studies of tourism development zones and an analysis of the capabilities government offices.•Designed research instruments for a tourism survey in Kalpitiya tourism zoneDeveloped 4 case studies for positive deviances and innovative improvements in public government offices.

•Designed, coordinated and implemented the strategic programme between World Food Programme and Government of Ethiopia for 2013-2015 for Disaster Risk Management Activities (budget ~$3 million).•Managed a program with 6 WFP experts and more than 20 government civil servants to provide every district of the country (more than 700) with a new and innovative disaster risk profile (with 100 socio-economic indicators), a disaster risk reduction and recover plan, and an emergency plan that help to better manage disasters.•Designed a methodology and coordinated a training of trainers in 9 regions (300 government experts).•Supported the government with the design of the new five-year plan, new DRM law and its strategic framework

- During 2011, identified, monitored and evaluated more than 20 projects, funded to Ethiopian Government, UN Agencies, International and Local NGOs and Universities, related to business development, disaster risk management, social protection, refugees and water and sanitation (~ €10 million).- Developed the Spanish Development Assistance Framework with the Ethiopian government for 2011-2016.- Coordinated the Spanish Humanitarian policy in Ethiopia with other EU and other implementing partners- Coordinated the emergency response of the Spanish NGOs due to the emergency drought of 2011.- During 2010, monitored and evaluated aid projects financed by the Humanitarian Aid Office for Africa, Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean and South-East Asia (Annual budget of the Office was €120 million)- Logistic organization of the Spanish humanitarian response (Haiti Earthquake, Pakistan Floods, and others)- Developed the application guide for Spanish NGO emergency programs
