Although it does involve some documentation and logistical work, it does not take much work or time to apply for a Chinese tourist visa. In this article, we will provide an overview and some tips on how to apply for a tourist visa or use one of the visa-free policies for China. Types of Travel To China Visa

China usually issues three types of tourist visas: single entry (valid for 3-6 months), two entry (valid for 6 months), and multiple entries (valid for 6 or 12 months). A single-entry tourist visa can usually stay for up to 30 days, but you can request up to 90 days. The number of days you receive depends in part on your passport. In China, a tourist visa is usually valid for no more than two times.

U.S. citizens are eligible for multiple-entry visas for 10 years, with a maximum stay of 60 days per entry. In order for a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a 10-year visa, the passport of a U.S. passport holder must remain valid for more than one year. If their passports are valid for one year or less (more than six months), they will receive a visa valid for less than one year.

When and how to apply for Travel To China Visa

A single-entry tourist visa is usually valid for three months, so it is best to apply for a Chinese tourist visa 30 to 60 days before the date you intend to enter. If you apply too much in advance, your visa may expire before you arrive in China.

Unless you are part of a group trip, you will need to arrange your own visa. Some countries have visa agents, but this greatly increases the cost. It will be cheaper if you can go directly to the nearest Embassy / Consulate. You can search on the Internet to find the nearest Chinese embassy or consulate. You can also apply for a Chinese visa outside your own country - just make sure you meet all the application requirements.

Visa applications are usually processed within three to four working days, but you can choose to pay for the extra cost of the expedited service. If you go to the visa office in person, you can get the visa on the same day, but you have to pay for it.
