We are currently looking for someone who can taught a university-level course fucusing on Pension Policy and Pension Planning. The instructor's duties include: 1. Design a syllabus for the course(s) you intend to teach 2. Development of course content, and other related teaching materials based on provided course information, including: a) Teaching outline(s) for the course(s) b) Lecture notes or other form of courseware for EACH lecture; c) Questions for quizzes, assignment, and the mid-term and final examinations 3. Recommend a textbook students can refer to in their study 4. Design the rubrics for each course and advice the teaching assistant on assessment and marking (the TA will help you with the grading tasks) 5. Provide feedback on students’ questions 6. A study plan or topic to be covered in teaching each week. 7. Exam Paper Design: 3 sets of test papers are required, divided into A & B & C papers, with no less than 20% repetitive rate. The papers should include with no less than 3 types of test questions in each set. (For example: choice + judgment + short answer, or choice + short answer + case study). Each set of papers will be scored out of 100 points and the teacher will be required to provide standard answers for objective questions and grading criteria for subjective questions. The Chinese teacher will be responsible for the scoring work, and the foreign teacher will be responsible for random checking of the final student's grade. 8. Quiz Design: Discuss with the teaching assistant to determine the type of quiz (optional choice test, group discussion etc.), design the quiz for each module and provide answer or rubrics as well. 9. Quiz or other types of evaluation mode for the tutorial session with answers or rubrics will be provided to assistant teacher 3 business days before each lecturing. 10. Provide final example paper and rubrics Note: According to the requirements of China’s Ministry of Education, from this year onwards, all teaching materials of each course instructor have to be reviewed, including textbooks, courseware, audio and video files, case materials, etc. We hope the foreign teachers will understand and cooperate when needed. About Salary Teaching Fee: 400 RMB/Class (48 classes in total ) Course Design Service Fee: 1200 RMB (including course design, quiz design, final exam design) In Sum: 20400 RMB

1. Qualified candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Law, Public Policy/Public Management, labor economics, or other relevant Social Sciences subjects. Candidates with master’s degree or above is preferred. 2. Qualified candidates are able to teach courses centered on pension-related policies and planning. 3. Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in education or teaching. 4. Candidates must hold a Nationality out of China. 5. Candidates with experience of teaching in English are preferred. 6. Candidates with ample spare time during the 2024 spring semester(from late Feb. to late June) are preferred.
