Core Responsibilities of Travel Trade Sales Representative Business Development & Client Management Develop and maintain relationships with tour operators/agencies through calls, online communication, and regular visits to establish long-term partnerships Achieve regional sales targets by promoting outbound tourism products (e.g., customized tours, group packages) to trade partners Sales Execution & Support Provide comprehensive product information (e.g., pricing, itineraries) and deliver pre-sales, in-sales, and after-sales services to clients Negotiate contracts, handle orders, and ensure payment collection Market Intelligence & Crisis Response Collect and analyze market trends (e.g., competitor strategies, client feedback) to support business decisions Resolve operational emergencies (e.g., tour cancellations, service complaints) promptly Cross-functional Collaboration Coordinate with product design and operations teams to optimize tour packages based on market demand Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, client profiles, and sales reports Key Qualifications Education & Experience: College degree or above; basic English proficiency; 1+ years in outbound tourism sales preferred Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, CRM tools, and travel industry platforms (e.g., Ctrip, Tuniu)
Job Requirements
Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years in sales roles within travel wholesaling companies (e.g., tour operators, B2B travel agencies), with proven track record in outbound tourism product sales (group packages, customized tours) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Tourism Management, or Business Administration (or equivalent practical experience)
