Job responsibilities
1.Lead technical design and implementation of a feature
2.Be subject matter expert in the area.
3.Troubleshoot issues raised from production and resolve customer problems.
4.Evaluate and adopt technologies which improve the team efficiency and platform capability
5.Code review peer developer's code and provide constructive feedbacks to ensure consistency and quality of code
6.Participate in hiring process.
7.Manage software engineers and software engineer managers, mentor and grow team members
8.Manage resource and budget, exercise property tradeoff based on priority and ROI
9.Assess performance based on guideline and provide timely feedback to employees
10.Champion in development process and advocate for best practice.
11.Lead by example and continue to design and implement critical features.
12.Provide technical leadership to the team
13.Work with management and business team on planning process
14.Coordinate with PM/Test team on release planning, project management and live site support.
Job Requirements
1.Strong Analytical Problem Solving Skill
2.Solid computer science background including Algorithm, Data Structure, Operation System etc.
3.Ability to quickly learn complexity system and new technologies
4.Passion about customer, partner and quality
5.Proven track record of releasing commerce software product
6.Proven track record of design/architecture of a large components.
7.Experience in mentoring junior engineers and hire hires into high performing stars.
8.Experience in live site troubleshooting
9.Experience in leading large projects
10.Deep Experience with C#/Java/C++ development.
11.Experience in building and running large scale distributed online services is big plus
12.Experience in building billing payment system is preferred
13.Experience with large distributed database design is preferred
14.BS/MS in Computer science or related technical major is required.
15. 8+ years of commercial software development
16. 3+ years of managing a software engineering team.
17. Proven track record in hiring talents
