The Role We’re hiring a Staff Visual Designer, the Founding Designer of this new team, to help design the next generation of financial software: AI-native, autonomous, and radically user-centric. You’ll partner closely with engineering and product leadership to go from zero to one: from strategic concepts through to high-fidelity execution. As our first designer, you’ll shape not just the product, but the design culture, principles, and direction of Agentic Finance. What You’ll Do Define and drive the product design vision — from the first sketch to live product Invent new interaction paradigms for a world where AI agents do the work, and humans supervise and steer Work hand-in-hand with product and engineering to rapidly explore, prototype, and iterate Balance broad strategic thinking with hands-on execution in Figma, Lovable, and other vibe-coding tools Translate complex financial workflows into elegant, approachable experiences Contribute to product strategy, roadmap, and customer validation Who You Are A true 0→1 designer: You’ve built products from scratch and thrive in ambiguity Strong on the tools: You can independently own end-to-end design work — from early visual concepts through to polished UI and developer handoff Technically minded: You’re energized by working with AI, automation, or complex systems — and can think through both capabilities and limitations Deeply collaborative: You love working side by side with engineers and product leads to figure things out Customer obsessed: You design with clarity and care for non-expert users, and you know how to validate and refine your ideas with real feedback Startup-ready: You’re comfortable moving fast, wearing many hats, and making trade-offs Experience: Minimum 8 years as a visual designer with expertise in desktop web, mobile web, and native app experiences.
