Location: China Experience: 7 to 14 Years Industry: FMCG / Manufacturing / International Business Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Legal Counsel to support our operations in China. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and ensure compliance with Chinese laws and regulations in the areas of corporate governance, contracts, labor law, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong knowledge of the Chinese legal framework, experience working in multinational environments, and the ability to manage legal risks effectively.

Provide legal counsel on all aspects of business operations in China, including commercial, labor, corporate, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor, distributor, employment, and joint venture agreements. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and monitor changes that may affect the company’s operations. Liaise with government authorities, external counsels, and internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters. Handle disputes, litigation, and arbitration in collaboration with external legal counsel. Advise on intellectual property, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and competition laws. Support licensing, business registration, and company secretarial functions. Train internal teams on legal topics and promote a culture of legal compliance.
