Job responsibilities
The duties of a Procurement Specialist mainly include the following: Vendor management: Purchasing specialists need to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier negotiations, sign procurement contracts, and maintain the supplier database. They need to ensure that the quality, price and delivery time of the suppliers meet the company's requirements, and at the same time establish long-term, mutual trust and co-operation with the suppliers. Purchasing Execution: According to the company's purchasing requirements, purchasing specialists are responsible for placing orders, following up orders, inspecting goods and other purchasing processes to ensure that the purchased goods or services arrive at the company on time, in quality and in quantity. Cost control: Purchasing specialists need to pay attention to market dynamics, grasp commodity price information, and conduct price comparison and analysis in order to reduce purchasing costs. They also need to reduce procurement costs by optimising the procurement process and improving procurement efficiency. Compliance management: Purchasing specialists need to comply with the company's procurement policies and relevant laws and regulations to ensure that procurement activities are compliant and legal. They also need to deal with supplier and product quality issues in a timely manner to ensure that the legitimate rights and interests of the company are protected. Data analysis and reporting: Purchasing specialists need to collect, collate and analyse purchasing data, prepare purchasing reports and provide decision support. They also need to optimise procurement strategies and processes based on data analysis results to improve procurement efficiency.
Job Requirements
1. Possess a bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as logistics management, procurement, and supply chain management. 2. Possess professional skills in procurement, negotiation, supplier management, and other areas. Have knowledge of procurement processes, contract terms, quality control, etc., and possess good data analysis and report writing skills. 3. Possess certain work experience, familiar with procurement processes and supplier management, and able to independently complete procurement tasks. 4. Possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate with suppliers, internal customers, and colleagues, coordinate and solve problems. 5. Possess negotiation skills and good communication skills, able to negotiate for the company's interests and reach procurement agreements. 6. Possess data analysis capabilities, able to process and analyze procurement data, and provide support for company decision-making. 7. Possess teamwork spirit, able to collaborate well with other departments and team members to complete work tasks together. 8. Possess the quality of honesty and integrity, comply with the company's procurement policies and relevant laws and regulations, and maintain a fair and honest attitude.
