Assistance Online (AOL), part of the Cover-More Group, provides medical and travel assistance services from a sophisticated 24-hour call centre facility in Shanghai.An exciting opportunity now exists within AOL for a full-time medical officer to join our team of doctors, nurses and case managers who assist travelers or expatriates who become ill or are injured while holidaying or working in China.The primary responsibilities of the role are coordinating the medical care and management by liaising with treating medical officers, local hospitals and health providers, and undertaking repatriations from remote parts of China and worldwide, on both commercial aircraft and air ambulances.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and attributes.1. A medical degree and at least five years’ working experience in a clinical setting (ICU, Emergency medicine or ER experience) or medical assistance company (with transport experience) – this should include at least two years of post-graduate international training. 2. Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS is desirable. 3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 4. A strong passion for assisting people. 5. The ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations 6. Intermediate computer skills. 7. Fluency in English (spoken and written).
