We launched a newspaper in the US last summer, and are seeking talent to fill a vacancy in the paper.The position is Advertising Manager, the publication is the Henderson Press. You will be the pointperson for the whole of advertising operations, working with US-based ad salespeople as well as Beijing-based ad designers to make all the advertising happen. You will also be in charge of customer retention via telephone, and some ad sales.

We require someone who:-has 1-3 years work experience in media/advertising/newspapers, or project management-can multitask effectively whie maintaining extraordinary attention to detail-is a native speaker of English-has good telephone/email etiquette-possesses the drive to go above and beyond basic requirements to service clients-can produce, and work with others to produce, ad creative using Photoshop-could jump in and take charge of newspaper layout using InDesign (on a necessary basis)-could help out with some editorial work (on a necessary basis)-is a college graduate, and ideally has a MBA/batchelor's in advertising or designWe can offer:competitive package for experienced candidatesworking hours of 4am to 1pm, Tuesday to Saturday, to mirror the work week in Nevadaopportunities for relocation to the US if candidate is a good fitSuccessful candidate will be expected to do a small amount of customer service work for our technology services operations, if needed.
