1. Establish & manageLab Operations team and interface with the other entities of QIMA Life Sciences and the other departments (Finance, IT, sales) based in HK and Europe. 2. Maintain and optimize processes within the lab to increase efficiency and effectiveness including management of inventory, lab consumables, and chemicals. 3. Ensure that the research programs and tests are performed in a timely manner according SOPs to provide valid data. 4. Establish and achieve lab annual budget. 5. Establish lab procedures, create and manage lab-related documentation. 6. Coordinate annual laboratory permits and license renewals, and laboratory operations deliveries/shipments inside and out of labs. 7. Manage lab equipment including service contracts, preventative maintenance. 8. Anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems associated with work within the laboratory setting. 9. Oversee lab safety and regulatory compliance, including tracking of biologics, chemicals, and hazardous materials, and enforcing PPE policy and lab safety rules.

• Education: PhD Degree - Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a laboratory setting - Fluent in French - Bilingual in English - Experience leading a Chinese team - Experience in Cell & tissue culture, molecular biology & immunocytochemistry - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience working with and operating laboratory equipment as well as management of - laboratory space - Strong background in asset management and information technologies - Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of quality and confidentiality - Strong follow-up and time management skills with ability to effectively multi-task and a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks.
