Interact With Students: 1、Utilize appropriate language, interactions, and positive discipline 2、Model positive behavior 3、Assist in instructing and supervising students in the class 4、Implement age-appropriate activities 5、Continuously monitor students to ensure safety at all times Assess Students: 1、Assess students on a regular basis 2、Maintain anecdotal notes, written observations and other approved forms of documentation for each student Curriculum Preparation: 1、Use internet and expertise of the Professor to help 2、Assist Professor in incorporating activities into the monthly plans that support students’ development across the learning domains 3、Help Professor prepare activities that support daily teacher-directed activities Communicate With Parents: 1、Maintain open communication with parents by attending Parent/Teacher conferences 2、As a parent advocate, work with teaching team to resolve issues or concerns that are raised Documentation: 1、Help complete all necessary paperwork for classroom activities Administration: 1、Work closely with members of your teaching team 2、Participate in team meetings. Communicate and share ideas and concerns with Professor 3、Engage in continuing education and professional development activities such as trainings, workshops

A minimum of two years of college coursework, including some concentrated study in subject areas relevant to Arete College courses is required; graduate-level preferred.
