<> Teachers are only tasked with an average of three periods of class instruction per day, and with periods lasting a total of 35 minutes each. <br/><> Typically, the fall semester will have two periods of English per day, in addition to one Social Science class; whereas in the spring semester, the two English periods are complemented with a Science class. <br/><> Our primary school English program utilizes materials regularly taught in U.S. curricula. <br/><> Collaboration is expected with the teacher’s grade-level team in planning out the weekly content.<br/><> Lastly, our primary school English teachers also act as foreign homeroom teacher for their assigned class, therein responsible for the management of students and parental communication, and further cooperating with the national homeroom teacher.

<> Bachelor’s degree [BA, BSS, BS] or higher from reputable* institution. <br/><> Two years teaching experience [preferred]. <br/><> TESL/TESOL/TEFL certification [120-hour minimum]. <br/><> Native English speaker.<br/><> Ability & willingness to effectively manage classroom environment. <br/><> Ability & willingness to work on a team of both foreign and national staff.<br/><> Ability & willingness to undergo training and coaching. <br/><> Ability & willingness to integrate into Chinese culture.<br/><> Working familiarity with messaging platforms such as WeChat, Teams & Outlook; software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, GradeKeeper, et al.
