1) Select tractable molecular targets with excellent biological rationale for the therapeutic antibody discovery project teams across multiple disease areas; 2) Lead the project teams to establish high-throughput and robust functional assays for lead antibody screening; 3) Drive department-wide efforts to isolate, clone, engineer, and optimize new biologic entities with excellent in vitro and in vivo biological functions and developability using a variety of technologies; 4) Support CMC development and IND-enabling studies for lead candidates.

1) Ph.D. with at least 10 years of working experience in Oncology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular and Structural Biology or related discipline; 2) Prior experience leading therapeutic antibody discovery projects and managing project team(s), industry experience from overseas strongly preferred; 3) Familiarity with antibody structure, properties and sequences; 3) Prior experience in the design, execution, and analysis of immunological, biochemical, and/or cellular assays (e.g., ELISA, ELISPOT, FCM, Western blot, immunoprecipitation, MLR, etc.) and assay results; 4) Expertise utilizing techniques for antibody structure modeling, engineering, humanization, affinity measurement and affinity maturation; 5) Ability to demonstrate autonomy, good judgement and inspiration of others; 6) Ability to set aggressive goals and clear direction and to measure performance for the project team(s); 7) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
