Overview Omeida Chinese Academy in Yangshuo, Guilin is looking for an ambitious and skilled individual to oversee their digital marketing efforts. Omeida is situated amongst what is arguably the most stunning scenery in all of China. Yangshuo is a small town safely away from China’s urban centers, yet Omeida still boasts a thriving community of expats, teachers, language learners, and volunteers. Omeida has two side-by-side schools: An English language school for native Chinese, and a Chinese language school for foreigners studying Mandarin. Together, students and teachers of both schools live, work, study, eat, and explore the incredible environment. The Chinese academy’s marketing department seeks to get the news of this incredible school and town to Mandarin learners all around the world and join in on the learning experience and adventure of a lifetime. Omeida is currently seeking to strengthen it’s efforts in doing this through SEO, as well as other avenues. If you have in-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, and have the Mandarin experience to consistently create content that is comprehensive and appealing to Chinese learners, consider applying for this position! This position is a one year contract starting as soon as you are ready. Responsibilities: - Creating content (videos, articles, images etc.) - Establishing creative methods to promote Omeida - Managing social media platforms and analyzing data - Managing Google Ads - Establishing relationships with current and new international and local partners - Maintaining website - Writing marketing reports and plans, attending routine meetings - Managing volunteers
