Job responsibilities
●Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase user activity, retention, and loyalty across Discord, X, Reddit, and other relevant platforms. ●Create high-quality English content (posts, announcements, newsletters, event recaps, etc.) that resonates with our game players, showcasing strong writing skills and a deep understanding of gaming culture. ●Proactively interact with community members, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and empathetic manner, resolving issues and building positive relationships. ●Monitor community trends, feedback, and sentiment, compiling regular reports to share insights with the team and inform product/community decisions. ●Organize and host community events (e.g., game discussions, Q&A sessions, playthroughs, AMA) both online and offline (when applicable) to boost engagement and strengthen community bonds. ●Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, development, customer support) to align community initiatives with company goals and ensure consistent messaging. ●Identify and nurture community advocates/influencers to amplify our brand voice and drive organic growth.
Job Requirements
●Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write engaging, error-free content tailored to different community platforms. ●Genuine passion for games and a deep understanding of single-player gaming culture, trends, and player preferences. ●Proven experience in managing online communities, preferably within the gaming industry. Familiar with the operations of communities and best practices on Discord, X, and Reddit. ●Strong empathy and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with players, understand their needs, and address concerns effectively. ●Excellent organizational skills and project management ability, capable of planning and executing multiple community initiatives simultaneously. ●Demonstrated charisma and influence within communities, with a track record of driving engagement and motivating community members. ●Proficient in using community management tools and analytics platforms to track performance and gain insights. ●Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
