• This role involves the teaching of Biology up to IBDP/A level and the teaching of Chemistry up to IGCSE level.<br/>• teach students in a way that enables them to achieve high standards of learning <br/>• contribute towards the provision of a dynamic, creative international learning environment<br/>• actively participate in the development of the school .<br/>• undertake long, medium and short term planning to ensure appropriate curriculum coverage according to the requirements of the respective examination board syllabi<br/>• work as part of the team of Science teachers to organise the Science Fair and IBDP Group 4 project<br/>• ensure that student learning in classes is monitored, appropriately assessed and that the results of such assessment are used to enhance learning <br/>• regularly report progress of students to parents<br/>• undertake the role of a Homeroom teacher if required<br/>• actively participate in the range of extra-curricular activities and programmes that take place outside the regular school day<br/>• take part in designated school events, as defined by the school calendar<br/>• undertake any other reasonable task that school leadership deems to be appropriate<br/>This includes but is not limited to the job functions involved with the position.<br/>

Candidates should have:<br/> have a Bachelor degree or above (Major in chemistry or biology preferred)<br/> have more than 2 years relevant teaching experience<br/> have good communication skills with students<br/> teach students in a way that enables them to achieve high standards of learning<br/> contribute towards the provision of a dynamic, creative international learning environment<br/> work co-operatively and supportively with all members of staff<br/> experience with IB and IGCSE beneficial<br/>
